The pitch

Coin Rush '89 is a browser take on the arcade redemption machines of the late 1980s. You move a chute and drop coins onto a moving pusher, but you are loading the pile behind the shelf lip, not aiming at it, so the coins you drop now pay out several strokes later.

Coins pay, gems pay big, skulls take from your bank, and coins that fall in the side gutters are gone. Chained payouts raise a multiplier that decays if you stall. The run ends when your bank hits zero.

How to play

  1. Watch the attract mode. It teaches the machine.
  2. Move the chute and drop coins onto the middle of the pile.
  3. Let the pusher shove the pile forward. Payouts arrive a few strokes after you drop.
  4. Avoid wide drops and skulls. Gutter coins are gone.
  5. Keep the shelf fed to chain payouts and hold the multiplier.

Controls

Keyboard and mouse
