The pitch

LUNKER is a two-minute arcade fishing run. You drive a boat around a lake and cast at fish shadows you can see under the surface, so there is no waiting for a bite. Small fish land at once and keep a streak alive. Big ones fight on the line and put seconds back on the clock.

The lake has cover (a sand drop-off, sunken timber, stumps, lily pads, weed beds and cattails) and the fish hold to it, so finding them is the skill.

How to play

  1. Drive the boat and look for fish shadows near cover.
  2. Hold to charge a cast and release to throw.
  3. Small fish land at once and keep your streak going.
  4. On a big fish, hold to reel and let go when the line runs red so it does not spit the hook.
  5. Land big fish to add seconds, then post your score.

Controls

Keyboard and mouse

WASD or arrow keys drive. Hold the mouse button to charge a cast, release to throw, hold to reel. Space also reels.

Touch

Left thumb drives. Right thumb pulls back and releases to cast, and holds to reel. Works upright or sideways.

Gamepad

Left stick drives, right stick casts, A or right trigger reels.
