The pitch
Two farms share one road. You hide three herds in your field, the neighbor hides his across the road, and you pick squares over there for your tractor to drop a feed bucket on. A moo means a cow.
Every third round the loose herds graze one square along their line into ground you have not tested, so your buckets work as fences. Tag one cow and that herd stops where it stands. Twice a match you can send the cattle dog down a row or column to count the loose cows it smells.
